The congress will feature studies aimed at addressing challenges in modern poultry production. Jose Manuel De La Fuente Garcia, Global Marketing Manager for Poultry at Trouw Nutrition, emphasized that the research is designed to help stakeholders manage flock performance, regulatory compliance, and environmental considerations. He stated, "Scientific research is essential for developing solutions that support more precise feeding programmes, achieve better production metrics, and support both animal welfare and the environment."

Key topics in Trouw Nutrition's presentations will include:

1. **Calcium and Phosphorus Optimization**

- Lewis Aguirre will discuss the impact of dietary calcium and phosphorus on broiler performance during the grower phase.

- Clara Alfonso-Carrillo will evaluate how varying calcium and phosphorus levels affect performance and bone quality during the rearing phase.

- Midian McCulligh will review the effects of different feeding strategies of calcium and phosphorus on broiler chicken growth.

2. **Predictive Modelling**

- Matheus Reis will share insights from a study on a broiler growth model designed to predict the effects of feeding strategies on performance and economic outcomes.

3. **Gut Health and Performance**

- Reza Akbari will explore the effects of fatty liver syndrome on nutrient utilization and intestinal health in late-laying hens.

- Lane Pineda will discuss the benefits of combining plant-derived bioactive compounds and target-release butyrates in improving broiler performance.

- Sylvester Mutinda will examine the interactions between low crude protein and raised-without-antibiotics concepts on broiler growth and body composition.

Additionally, Trouw Nutrition will host an event titled "From Insight to Impact: Transforming Poultry Nutrition" on July 14 in room 401 of the convention center. The program will include discussions by Trouw Nutrition scientists on nutritional modelling, trace mineral strategies, and PhytoComplex solutions aimed at enhancing poultry performance and profitability.

WPC 2026 is organized by the World Poultry Association and brings together scientific community members every four years to share knowledge and explore innovations in the poultry sector.
