On September 19, 2026, Panther Creek and Green Level High Schools participated in their third annual Mental Health Awareness game in Cary. During the warm-ups, players donned "Live for More" shirts to highlight the initiative, while the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) provided mental health resources and information for students and families.

The event aimed to raise awareness about mental health issues, particularly among athletes. Player Finn Stevenson emphasized the importance of the event, stating, "We just wanted to make sure people know when they come out here today [about] what we're supporting. Let people know that mental illness is not talked about enough. It's OK to not be OK."
Organizers expressed their hope that the visibility of the game would help to break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage students to seek support when needed.
