LANSING, Mich. – A new crisis care center is set to open on Tuesday in Lansing, providing an alternative to hospitalization for individuals facing mental health or substance use crises. The center aims to deliver crisis intervention and immediate, intensive treatment for those in need of care but who may not require hospitalization. Additionally, it will feature a rehabilitation program tailored for individuals struggling with substance use. Its Families Forward program will offer 24/7 walk-in crisis services for both children and adults.
Designed as a community-based solution for those in crisis, the center allows individuals to receive immediate support without the need to go to a hospital.
