
WAUSAU, Wis. (WAOW) — The Mental Health Collaborative is organizing a free screening of "Screenagers: Next Chapter" on October 7 at the Wausau West High School Auditorium. This documentary, created by physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston, examines research-based solutions aimed at supporting adolescent mental health and highlights strategies that families and communities can adopt to enhance well-being in a digital context.

The event will start at 6 p.m. at 1200 West Wausau Avenue, with a resource fair beginning at 5:15 p.m. This fair will provide attendees the opportunity to connect with local organizations focused on mental health. The screening is open to the public, and while pre-registration is encouraged, it is not mandatory. This initiative is being supported by the Wausau Early Birds Rotary Club, Aspirus Health, and the Grand Theater.
