The summit will feature presentations and interactive sessions on topics such as employee assistance programs, peer support initiatives, leadership development, and effective jobsite mental health practices. Notable speakers include mental health advocate Kevin Hines, author and speaker Marshall Davis Jones, and Anthony Gallagher, alongside various contractors, labor leaders, and mental health professionals.
Participants will have the opportunity to take part in VitalCog mental health awareness training, with an option for a full-day course leading to Train-the-Trainer certification. This certification will enable organizations to enhance mental health education within their workforces.
The growing emphasis on mental health programs aligns with broader construction safety initiatives, making this summit a crucial platform for contractors, union leaders, and safety professionals to discuss effective strategies for tackling workplace mental health and substance use challenges.
