Amrita Centre for Food Nutrition and Integrated Research Inaugurated

The Amrita Centre for Food Nutrition and Integrated Research (ACFNIR) was inaugurated on July 3, 2026, by Swami Tapasyamritananda Puri, a Senior Disciple of AMMA. The event was held in the divine presence of Mata Amritanandamayi Math and signifies the launch of a research facility focused on advancing innovation, interdisciplinary studies, sustainable food systems, and nutrition for societal benefit.

As part of the Deeksharambh – Student Induction Programme 2026 for B.Sc. (Hons.) Food Science and Nutrition students, Mr. Chidambaram V, Senior Executive at Rurban, Nestlé India Ltd., delivered a distinguished lecture titled “Building a Successful Career in the Food Industry: Opportunities, Skills, and Emerging Trends in Nutrition.”
