Alcon Media Group has announced plans to adapt several films into UK television series through its new Alcon International Studios division. The selected films include Christopher Nolan's remake of "Insomnia," Denis Villeneuve's "Prisoners," Denzel Washington's "The Book of Eli," Kate Hudson's rom-com "Something Borrowed," and the Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler film "P.S. I Love You."

In addition to these projects, Alcon International Studios is participating in a co-financing package for the upcoming TV reboot of Kathryn Bigelow's "Point Break" with Studiocanal and AMC.

Alcon is also behind the recent release of the film "The Social Reckoning," along with notable projects such as "The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants," "The Blind Side," and the acclaimed sci-fi series "The Expanse" on Syfy and Amazon. The company is also involved in the upcoming "Blade Runner 2099" series set to debut next month.
