Starting this month, the new offerings will be available in major grocery stores across the country. Silk, a leading plant-based beverage brand recommended by registered dietitians, initially launched its Silk Protein milk line in January 2026. The brand aims to provide an appealing and nutritionally dense option for individuals looking to incorporate more protein into their diets, especially as this nutrient remains a top choice among Americans.

Kallie Goodwin, Plant-Based Food & Beverage Lead at Danone USA, emphasized that consumers are increasingly searching for foods that are nutritious, satisfying, and aligned with their wellness objectives. The expanded Silk Protein range focuses on delivering comprehensive nutrition without sacrificing flavor.

The Silk Protein Yogurt stands out as the only plant-based yogurt offering an excellent source of complete plant protein, containing at least 12 grams of protein—double the average in the plant-based yogurt category. It also includes 4 grams of fiber and five essential nutrients, such as calcium and vitamin B12, without any artificial colors or sweeteners.

Meanwhile, the Silk Protein Shakes are ready-to-drink and shelf-stable, featuring 30 grams of complete plant protein, 5 grams of fiber, and only 2 grams of sugar. Each shake contains 180 calories per serving.

Silk Protein Yogurt is being offered in four flavors—Vanilla, Strawberry, Peach, and Mixed Berry—priced at $1.99 for a 5.3-ounce cup and $6.79 for a 24-ounce tub. Silk Protein Shakes will initially be available in Vanilla and Chocolate flavors, with a suggested retail price of $11.99 for a four-pack.
