ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) - The Pathways Community held a fundraiser at Elmers County Market, where staff and members served hotdogs and bratwursts to support upcoming mix and mingle events. Dressed in thematic costumes, they welcomed visitors and promoted their organization's mission. Michelle Vanremortel, a Life Skills Technician at Pathways Delta County, explained, "We’re looking for donations doing a fundraiser for the Delta County RIC and Pathways of Delta County for the community events we put on."

The event raised a total of $880, which included $427 in donations and tips. Elmers County Market has supported Pathways Community Mental Health for more than 20 years. The nonprofit organization provides mental health services to Delta County and other Upper Peninsula communities.
