Insomnia Cookies to Host Eighth Annual PJ Party with Free Cookies on September 15

The PJ Party, which began in 2019, has become a widely recognized event, particularly on college campuses. This year, around 174 campus locations will host special celebrations, with the aim to encourage students to stay up late enjoying warm cookies. Last year, approximately 67,000 free cookies were distributed during the event.

In addition to free cookies, participating bakeries will feature giveaways including koozies, totes, and even Energizing Eye Patches. At 25 select locations, guests can spin prize wheels for additional items such as playing cards and trucker hats, while supplies last.

A highlight of the event is the Dream Dorm Giveaway, offering one college student a chance to win free Insomnia Cookies for a year alongside other valuable dorm essentials. The giveaway includes a Hatch Restore 3, a one-year Hatch+ membership, a Brooklinen Luxe Core Sheet Set, custom skateboard décor, and more. To enter, participants need to post on Instagram or TikTok with their free cookie while dressed in pajamas, using the hashtag #InsomniaPJParty, between 8 p.m. ET on September 15 and 11:59 p.m. ET on September 16.

The PJ Party will take place from 8 p.m. until closing at most bakeries, while the Dayton, Ohio location will recognize the event from 6 to 10 p.m. Additional offers available throughout the day include 25% off ice cream cups and pints, special cookie promotions valid until September 27, and double Rewards points for Insomnia Rewards members.
