PHILADELPHIA, PA — Insomnia Cookies will celebrate its eighth annual PJ Party on September 15, offering customers dressed in pajamas a free Classic cookie at locations across the U.S. and Canada, as college campuses resume their fall schedules.

The giveaway will occur from 8 p.m. until closing at most locations, while the bakery in Dayton, Ohio, will participate from 6 to 10 p.m. No purchase or Insomnia Rewards membership is needed to claim the cookie.

Last year, Insomnia distributed approximately 67,000 free cookies during the event, which began in 2019 and has since grown significantly across its bakery network.

This year, Insomnia is focusing on its campus business, with promotions planned for 174 campus bakeries. At 149 of these locations, customers can receive merchandise such as totes, koozies, pens, lip balms, sticker packs, and eye patches while supplies last. Additionally, 25 bakeries will host enhanced events featuring prize wheels and extra merchandise.

The event will also include a sweepstakes for college students. One winner will receive a year’s supply of free Insomnia Cookies along with bedding, an espresso machine, headphones, sleep products, custom skateboard décor, pajamas, and a $200 gift card. To enter, attendees must obtain a Classic cookie while wearing pajamas and post a photo or video on Instagram or TikTok using #InsomniaPJParty and tagging @insomniacookies. The sweepstakes runs from 8 p.m. ET September 15 until 11:59 p.m. ET September 16, with eligibility restrictions.

Several sales promotions will coincide with the giveaway. Customers can enjoy 25% off ice cream cups and pints in-store on September 15, excluding Cookie’wiches and ice cream served with cookies, brookies, or brownies. From now until September 27, buying six Classic cookies will entitle customers to two additional Classic cookies for free. App users purchasing 12 Classic cookies will receive four additional cookies free during the same period.

Insomnia Rewards members will earn double points on eligible purchases throughout September 15. The free-cookie offer does not apply to Deluxe or limited-time cookies.
