Recognizing the importance of mental health care when it was still emerging, these organizations invested early to enhance support for their employees. Human resources and benefits leaders from each organization advocated for wider access to care and aimed for better outcomes in managing complex mental health cases. Collectively, they represent over 536,000 covered individuals and more than 90,000 appointments facilitated through Spring Health.
David Cheung, Senior Benefits Vendor Manager at Koch, stated that being awarded the Pioneer Award reflects their commitment to leveraging new technologies and ensuring timely access to mental health resources, which are crucial for employee recovery.
Peter Adebi, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Cincinnati Children's, highlighted the partnership with Spring Health in redefining comprehensive workforce well-being, emphasizing the significance of their co-created integrated care model.
Kelly Hallac, Senior Director of Benefits & Wellbeing at Nielsen, remarked on the importance of prioritizing employee well-being, noting significant engagement and clinical improvements in mental health outcomes due to their collaboration with Spring Health.
Common across all six honorees is a leadership ethos that challenges the status quo of mental health care. Gijo Mathew, Chief Product Officer at Spring Health, pointed out the critical areas where traditional care failed, including long wait times and inadequate matches between patients and providers. Spring Health's AI-driven approach addresses these gaps, enabling faster and more effective care.
