Judy Albelo from Tony’s Tribe emphasized the event's importance, stating, “This is not just a 5K, this is a movement. We feel that it takes a village to support people. So, we create this safe space, and everyone feels very supportive.”
The event not only aims to unite the community but also to foster discussions surrounding mental health and suicide prevention. Additionally, Tony’s Tribe announced a new scholarship for students pursuing careers in the mental health field.
