Nevada County Behavioral Health has chosen Pacific Clinics as the new provider for its behavioral health crisis services. The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) will reopen today and serve adults aged 18 and older facing a mental health crisis. The CSU offers a safe, voluntary environment where individuals can access short-term support, including crisis assessments, nursing evaluations, coping strategies, safety planning, and referrals to community resources. Notably, this is the first time the CSU will include peer support partners, allowing individuals to connect with others who understand their experiences.
