On September 25, 2026, the two organizations announced that eligible Curaechoice members would have access to Chrysalis Health’s mental health services across eighty outpatient locations in states including Florida, Ohio, Texas, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Wyoming, as well as through virtual platforms.
Chrysalis Health offers a range of services, including counseling, psychiatric services, and medication management, delivered by licensed professionals in both face-to-face and secure online settings. This initiative addresses significant gaps in mental health access; according to the Kaiser Family Foundation, 43% of insured adults with poor mental health could not obtain needed services last year due to factors such as difficulty in finding a provider and feelings of embarrassment.
Magin Perez, President of Chrysalis Health, emphasized the importance of timely access to mental health care, stating that the partnership aims to reduce barriers to treatment. Harsha Hatti, CEO of Curaechoice, concurred, highlighting the need for mental health care to be as accessible as primary care, noting that many individuals avoid seeking help due to perceived complications and costs.
